What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Aplus's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the architectural as-built in AutoCAD will include a floor plan, interior and exterior elevations, and photographs. This as-built is created to Aplus specifications by a third-party vendor.

The franchisee is responsible for providing an as-built site survey in AutoCAD. If the franchisee does not have one, the third-party vendor will create one, with the franchisee responsible for the approximate cost of $2,900. The franchisee must also provide access to all areas requiring survey during the as-built site survey.

In addition to the as-built, the third-party vendor will design the store layout to Aplus standards and submit the layout to Sunoco and the franchisee for review and approvals. The franchisee will also be charged a Project Management Fee of $4,900 by the third party vendor. This fee covers the procurement of required equipment, engineering support for the project, and working with the franchisee's General Contractor.

Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these costs and responsibilities when evaluating the Aplus franchise opportunity, as these fees contribute to the overall investment required to establish and operate a franchise location.
