What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Antioch Pizza Shop's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the transfer fee is payable in two installments. A $1,000 payment is due when you request Antioch Pizza Shop's approval for the transfer. The remaining balance of the transfer fee is due at the time the transfer is completed. The transfer fee is paid if you transfer any interest in the Franchise Agreement, any interest in the Antioch Pizza Shop Business, or more than 25% of the ownership of the entity that is the franchisee.
For a regular franchise, the transfer fee is 75% of the then-applicable initial franchise fee for buyers who are not currently Antioch Pizza Shop franchisees. If the buyer is already an Antioch Pizza Shop franchisee, the transfer fee is 25% of the then-applicable initial franchise fee.
For a Multi-Unit Development Agreement (MUDA), the transfer fee is calculated as the total of 25% of the initial franchise fee currently charged for a Dine-In or Take-Out Delivery Restaurant for each additional franchise to be developed under the Development Schedule as of the date of transfer. This fee structure is designed to cover Antioch Pizza Shop's costs and expenses related to the transfer process.
