What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Antioch Pizza Shop FDD, the franchisee is solely responsible for the costs associated with constructing or remodeling their Antioch Pizza Shop premises. The franchisee must ensure that all construction and remodeling adheres to local ordinances and building codes, and they are also responsible for obtaining all necessary permits.

Before commencing any construction or remodeling, the franchisee is required to submit their plans and specifications to Antioch Pizza Shop for review. While Antioch Pizza Shop may offer advisory assistance regarding these plans, the franchisee will bear the expense of this assistance. This process ensures that the premises align with Antioch Pizza Shop's uniform appearance and functionality standards.

This requirement is standard practice in the franchise industry, as it ensures brand consistency across all locations while placing the financial burden of build-out on the franchisee. Prospective Antioch Pizza Shop franchisees should carefully consider these costs when evaluating the overall investment required to open and operate a franchise.
