What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Antioch Pizza Shop does offer optional training programs. While the initial training program for franchisees and their business managers is mandatory, Antioch Pizza Shop may also require participation in additional training programs if a business repeatedly fails to meet their standards. Franchisees will be charged for these additional mandatory and optional training programs.
Franchisees are responsible for covering the costs of training their personnel, which includes expenses like materials, salaries, and travel. In cases where Antioch Pizza Shop requires a franchisee or their management to attend additional training due to performance issues, the franchisee may also be required to reimburse Antioch Pizza Shop for the costs associated with providing that training.
This means that while the initial training is included, franchisees should budget for potential ongoing training expenses, especially if their location struggles to meet Antioch Pizza Shop's operational standards. The FDD does not specify the content or cost of optional training programs, so prospective franchisees should inquire about these details during their due diligence.
