What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Antioch Pizza Shop does not own or lease the site for the franchisee's business. However, Antioch Pizza Shop will assist in evaluating the site proposed by the franchisee. The franchisee may select a site for their Antioch Pizza Shop business, but it is subject to Antioch Pizza Shop's written consent, which must be obtained before signing any lease or contract for the site.
Antioch Pizza Shop has 30 days to either accept or reject the franchisee's proposed site after receiving the request for approval. If the franchisee and Antioch Pizza Shop cannot agree on a site, the franchisee must find another location for approval. The franchisee must obtain site approval within six months of signing the Franchise Agreement.
The franchisee's Antioch Pizza Shop must be fully stocked, staffed, and open to the public within 12 months of signing the Franchise Agreement. Failure to comply with these timelines may result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. For Multi-Unit Developers, Antioch Pizza Shop will determine whether a proposed site is approved based on their then-current site selection guidelines and criteria.
