What is the initial franchise fee for an Antioch Pizza Shop Express Restaurant?

According to Antioch Pizza Shop's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee for an Express Restaurant is $35,000. This fee is paid in a lump sum when the Franchise Agreement is signed. Once paid, Antioch Pizza Shop considers the fee fully earned and it is generally nonrefundable. However, there is an exception if the type of franchise being developed changes.

If a franchisee initially signs an agreement and pays the initial fee for one type of Antioch Pizza Shop franchise but later requests to develop a different type due to site availability or other factors, the initial franchise fee may be adjusted. Either Antioch Pizza Shop will refund the difference if the new franchise type has a lower fee, or the franchisee will pay the difference if the new franchise type has a higher fee.

For franchisees pursuing a multi-unit development, the initial franchise fee structure is different. Under a Multi-Unit Development Agreement, the initial franchise fee for additional Express Restaurants is discounted to $28,000. This discounted rate applies to franchises developed after the first one under the agreement. A non-refundable Development Fee, which covers the total initial franchise fees for all additional Antioch Pizza Shop businesses, is paid when signing the Multi-Unit Development Agreement. When signing the Franchise Agreement for these additional locations, the Development Fee is applied, so no additional initial franchise fee is due at that time.
