- B. Franchisor also grants development rights to persons or entities who meet our qualifications and who are willing to undertake the investment and effort necessary to establish, develop, own and operate multiple Antioch Pizza Shop Businesses in accordance with the System and using the Marks.

You have expressed a desire to and have applied for the right to develop, own and operate two (2) or more Antioch Pizza Shop Businesses and Franchisor has approved your application in reliance upon all of the representations made therein and is willing to grant to Developer the right to develop multiple Antioch Pizza Shop Businesses within a certain agreed upon territory on the terms and conditions set forth herein.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Antioch Pizza Shop's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company does grant development rights to qualified individuals or entities. These rights allow developers to establish, own, and operate multiple Antioch Pizza Shop businesses within a specific territory, provided they meet the company's qualifications and are willing to invest the necessary resources.
The development rights are granted subject to the terms and conditions outlined in a Development Agreement. This agreement specifies a development schedule that the developer must adhere to. Each Antioch Pizza Shop restaurant established under the Development Agreement requires a separate Franchise Agreement. The terms of each Franchise Agreement will govern the establishment and operation of the respective Antioch Pizza Shop Restaurant.
Antioch Pizza Shop retains certain rights within the development area, including the right to conduct business in non-conventional forums such as shopping malls, airports, and university campuses. The Development Agreement is not a Franchise Agreement, so the developer cannot use the Antioch Pizza Shop system or marks solely by virtue of entering into the Development Agreement. The developer also cannot license others to operate a business or use the system or marks under the Development Agreement.
