What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, the date in the Addendum to the Franchise Agreement for Antioch Pizza Shop is significant because it specifies when the Franchise Agreement was initially established between Wix Franchise, Inc. and the franchisee. The addendum is signed because the offering or sales activity relating to the Franchise Agreement occurred in Illinois, and the restaurant that the franchisee will operate under the Franchise Agreement will be located in Illinois. This date helps to establish the timeline and legal context for the agreement, particularly in relation to Illinois state laws and regulations.
For a prospective Antioch Pizza Shop franchisee, this date is crucial for understanding the terms and conditions that were in effect at the time the agreement was made. It also confirms that the franchisee is operating in compliance with Illinois state requirements.
