What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Antioch Pizza Shop requires franchisees to adhere to specific inventory and supply specifications to maintain uniformity, quality, and protect the integrity of their brand. Franchisees must purchase all Proprietary Products, which include ingredients, products, equipment, and merchandise using secret recipes or trade secrets, exclusively from Antioch Pizza Shop or a designated supplier. These Proprietary Products may include pizza dough and sauces, frozen pizzas, hand-made sandwiches, desserts, food items, dough rollers, cheese graters, equipment, cookbooks, and promotional products.

In addition to the Proprietary Products, Antioch Pizza Shop franchisees must ensure that all articles used in dispensing and selling food products, as well as displaying merchandise, meet the franchisor's standards. This includes containers, cartons, bags, menus, napkins, paper goods, packaging, point-of-sale advertising, and promotional materials. All these items must be approved by Antioch Pizza Shop regarding quality and design and must bear the trademarks, logos, or slogans approved by the franchisor.

These requirements ensure that Antioch Pizza Shop maintains consistent quality and brand representation across all franchise locations. For a prospective franchisee, this means a reliance on approved suppliers and adherence to specific standards for all products and materials used in the business. While this may limit a franchisee's flexibility in sourcing supplies, it is intended to ensure a consistent customer experience and protect the brand's reputation.
