What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, an Antioch Pizza Shop franchisee operating a Food Truck/Trailer must fulfill specific requirements before commencing operations. These include securing all necessary permits and licenses from municipalities and other governmental bodies within their protected area. This ensures that the franchisee is legally compliant and authorized to operate in their chosen location.
In addition to legal compliance, the franchisee must also obtain written approval from Antioch Pizza Shop before beginning operations. The franchisor may require an on-site inspection of both the Food Truck/Trailer and the commissary to ensure they meet the brand's standards. This inspection helps maintain consistency and quality across all Antioch Pizza Shop franchises.
Furthermore, the franchisee is obligated to begin operating the Food Truck/Trailer franchise, fully equipped, stocked, and staffed, within twelve months of the effective date of the franchise agreement. Failure to meet this deadline may result in immediate termination of the agreement upon written notice from Antioch Pizza Shop. This clause emphasizes the importance of timely execution and operational readiness for new franchisees.
