What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, Angry Chickz may charge a fee for Site Review Kits under specific circumstances. If a developer submits more than three Site Review Kits for each dine-in restaurant they plan to develop, Angry Chickz may impose a fee of $500 for each additional kit.
This policy encourages developers to carefully evaluate potential sites before submitting them for review, as multiple submissions can lead to additional costs. The initial site visit by Angry Chickz for the first proposed restaurant is free, but subsequent visits, whether required by Angry Chickz or requested by the developer, incur a fee of $500 plus associated expenses. Angry Chickz also has the option to conduct site visits electronically.
It is important to note that Angry Chickz's assistance in locating a site or its acceptance of a proposed site does not guarantee the restaurant's profitability or success. The developer bears the sole responsibility for finding suitable locations for their Angry Chickz restaurants. This fee structure and the allocation of responsibility for site selection are typical in the franchise industry, where franchisees often have significant input in choosing their locations but must adhere to the franchisor's approval process.
