What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, Angry Chickz can require a franchisee to repair or reconstruct the Premises and Franchised Business to meet the standards for new restaurants if, in Angry Chickz's reasonable judgment, the damage or destruction to the Franchised Business is of such a nature or extent that it is feasible to do so.

Following damage or destruction, the franchisee must start repairs or reconstruction within 60 days and diligently pursue the work to completion, which should be within six months of the event causing the damage. This requirement ensures that the restaurant is brought back to operational standards in a timely manner.

This provision is important for prospective franchisees to consider, as it highlights the potential financial burden and time commitment involved in restoring a damaged or destroyed location to meet current brand standards. Franchisees should ensure they have adequate insurance coverage and contingency plans to address such events.
