When does the term of the Successor Franchise Agreement for Angry Chickz commence?

According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the term of the Successor Franchise Agreement begins when the initial franchise term expires. Specifically, it commences upon the date of expiration of the initial Term, or any subsequent Successor Term, if applicable.

To be eligible for a Successor Franchise Agreement, the franchisee must meet certain conditions. They must notify Angry Chickz in writing between 9 and 12 months before the expiration of the current term, indicating their intent to exercise their right to a successor agreement. The franchisee must also not be in default of their obligations under the existing agreement at the time of the notice and throughout the period until the new term starts.

Additionally, Angry Chickz may require the franchisee to remodel or refurbish the premises to comply with current standards for new restaurants before the Successor Term begins. The franchisee must also ensure that they and their employees meet the then-current qualification, training, and certification requirements. Finally, the franchisee must execute a general release of claims against Angry Chickz.
