Are Angry Chickz Restaurants required to have a drive-through?
Angry_Chickz Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We believe that the market for fast-casual restaurant services is mature and consists of the general public. You will compete with other fast-casual restaurants, cafes, nationwide chains and other food vendors. As with all retail food service businesses, your choice of location is critical to your success, no matter how good the concept. The typical Angry Chickz Restaurant will be approximately 2,500 to 3,000 square feet in size. The Restaurants will most likely be located in Class A and B suburban strip centers, lifestyle centers, urban and tourist areas. The Restaurants will have both carryout and eat-in customers and will offer catering services. Where possible, a Restaurant will include a drive-through, however it is not a requirement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a drive-through is not a requirement for restaurant locations. The FDD states that while a Restaurant will ideally include a drive-through where possible, it is not mandatory.
This provides flexibility for franchisees in selecting locations. While a drive-through can increase convenience and potentially sales, it may not always be feasible or available depending on the real estate options in a given area. The typical Angry Chickz Restaurant is approximately 2,500 to 3,000 square feet in size and is located in Class A and B suburban strip centers, lifestyle centers, urban and tourist areas.
This flexibility allows franchisees to consider a wider range of locations, including those in urban areas where drive-throughs are less common. However, franchisees should carefully evaluate the potential impact of not having a drive-through on their restaurant's sales and customer base. The FDD also notes that the choice of location is critical to success.
