Can Angry Chickz require the Operating Principal and other Franchised Business personnel to attend training courses periodically during the Term?

6.4 Additional Training and Other Assistance.
6.4.1 Periodically during the Term, Company may require the Operating Principal and other Franchised Business personnel (whether they are existing or newly-hired employees) to attend and satisfactorily complete various training courses, programs and conventions that Company chooses to provide, and/or that Company requires Franchisee to provide or attend, at the times and locations that Company designates.
Such additional training may be conducted live (at the Company's office, business location or a franchised location), through a live or prerecorded conference, webinar, or internet enabled training program, or by means of a self-study program.
- 6.4.3 At least one of Franchisee's representatives (an Owner or another representative designated by Company) must at Company's request (in Company's sole discretion) attend an annual meeting of all Restaurant franchisees at a location Company designates.
Franchisee must pay all of its costs and expenses attend.
Franchisee must also pay the then-current meeting fee.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, Angry Chickz can require the Operating Principal and other personnel to attend training courses, programs, and conventions periodically during the term of the franchise agreement. These training sessions can be for both existing and newly-hired employees. The training will occur at times and locations designated by Angry Chickz.
The additional training may be conducted live at Angry Chickz's office, business location, or a franchised location. It can also be done through a live or pre-recorded conference, webinar, internet-enabled training program, or self-study program. Franchisees are responsible for all expenses incurred by themselves and their employees in connection with training, including travel expenses.
Furthermore, at Angry Chickz's request, at least one of the franchisee's representatives (either an owner or another designated representative) must attend an annual meeting of all Restaurant franchisees at a location Angry Chickz designates. The franchisee is responsible for all costs and expenses to attend the meeting and must pay the then-current meeting fee, even if the representative does not attend.
