Does Angry Chickz require an additional fee for training courses, programs, and conventions?

According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, additional fees may be required for training courses, programs, and conventions that the company chooses to provide. While the initial training program for a specified number of people is provided at no additional cost, there are circumstances where fees become applicable.

Specifically, if Angry Chickz provides initial training to additional people beyond the Operating Principal, Restaurant Leader, and trainer, or if training is required due to a Successor Franchise Agreement or for the franchisee's third or subsequent restaurants, then training fees will be charged. Additionally, if Angry Chickz requires the franchisee or their employees to attend the Initial Training Program, fees apply. In all of these instances, the franchisee must also cover the travel expenses incurred by Angry Chickz's personnel, including airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, and a per diem charge for incidental expenses.

Furthermore, Angry Chickz may offer additional assistance and training to franchisees and their employees, either at the franchisee's request or when deemed necessary by Angry Chickz. These additional sessions may be held on a national or regional basis, and Angry Chickz may establish charges for this assistance, in addition to reimbursement for travel expenses. Franchisees are also responsible for covering their own and their employees' transportation, food, lodging, and other related costs when attending any additional training. The cost for additional training is Angry Chickz's daily training fee plus travel expenses.
