What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the written authorization to open and commence operation of the franchised business serves to confirm the franchisee's compliance with the brand's standards. This authorization from Angry Chickz is required before a franchisee can open their location to the public.
The authorization is explicitly not a representation or warranty that the location complies with applicable laws or that the construction is sound or free from defects. This means that while Angry Chickz checks for adherence to its brand standards, the franchisee remains responsible for ensuring legal compliance and the quality of construction.
This requirement ensures that each Angry Chickz location meets the brand's standards before opening, maintaining consistency across all franchises. However, franchisees should be aware that this authorization does not absolve them of their responsibilities regarding legal compliance and construction quality.
