What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, Angry Chickz will furnish general specifications, but not manufacturing specifications, for non-proprietary items and services to franchisees upon request. This is conditional on these specifications not already being detailed in the manuals, bulletins, electronic communications, or other directives provided to the franchisee.
This means that while Angry Chickz is willing to provide some information about the required standards for non-proprietary items, they are not obligated to give franchisees the detailed instructions on how to manufacture these items themselves. Franchisees are expected to adhere to the general specifications provided to ensure consistency across the Angry Chickz brand.
For a prospective franchisee, this implies a reliance on approved suppliers for many goods and services. If a franchisee wishes to use a different supplier for a product or service that is not already approved, they must seek approval from Angry Chickz by submitting sufficient information, specifications, and samples for evaluation. Angry Chickz can disapprove a proposed supplier for any reason, including potential disruption to existing distribution arrangements. This system allows Angry Chickz to maintain quality control and brand consistency, but it also limits the franchisee's autonomy in sourcing supplies.
