What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any advertising materials or concepts created by a franchisee and approved by Angry Chickz become the sole and exclusive property of Angry Chickz. The franchisee assigns ownership to Angry Chickz upon approval.

This means that while franchisees can contribute their ideas to marketing and advertising, Angry Chickz retains full control and ownership of the approved materials. Angry Chickz can also require a franchisee to stop using previously approved advertising materials by providing written notice. Franchisees must comply with this directive.

This policy ensures that Angry Chickz maintains a consistent brand image and message across all franchise locations. It also allows Angry Chickz to leverage the best ideas from its franchisees while protecting its intellectual property. Franchisees need to be aware that their creative contributions, once approved, become the property of the franchisor.
