Is Angry Chickz obligated to have its field representatives visit the Franchised Business to advise or train the Franchisee?

- 6.4.2 At Franchisee's reasonable request, Company may, but shall not be obligated to: (i) cause its field representatives to visit the Franchised Business to advise, consult with or train Franchisee in connection with its performance and operation of the Franchised Business and Franchisee's compliance with the Standards; or (ii) permit Franchisee or certain of its employees to obtain assistance, consultation or additional training at a Restaurant selected by Company.
Any additional assistance, consultation or training by Company shall be at its discretion and subject to its scheduling and capacity requirements.
At no time shall reasonable efforts to provide ongoing assistance be interpreted to require Company to pay any money to or on behalf of Franchisee or to defer Franchisee's obligation to pay any sums to Company.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Angry Chickz is not obligated to have its field representatives visit the Franchised Business to advise or train the franchisee. However, at the franchisee's reasonable request, Angry Chickz may choose to send field representatives to advise, consult, or train the franchisee regarding the performance and operation of the franchised business and the franchisee's compliance with the brand standards.
Any additional assistance, consultation, or training provided by Angry Chickz is at their discretion and subject to their scheduling and capacity requirements. This means that even if a franchisee requests a visit from a field representative, Angry Chickz has the final say in whether or not they can fulfill that request based on their own internal resources and priorities.
It's important to note that Angry Chickz's efforts to provide ongoing assistance will not be interpreted as a requirement for them to pay any money to or on behalf of the franchisee or to defer the franchisee's obligation to pay any sums to Angry Chickz. This clarifies that any support provided by Angry Chickz does not alter the financial responsibilities of the franchisee as outlined in the franchise agreement.
