What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company has a specific timeframe to respond to a Developer's Site Review Kit. Angry Chickz may request additional information within 30 days of receiving the kit, and the developer is expected to respond promptly to these requests.

Angry Chickz must provide written notice of acceptance or rejection of the proposed site within 30 days of receiving the Site Review Kit. If additional information is requested, the company has 15 days after receiving that additional information to provide their decision. If Angry Chickz fails to provide a written notice within these specified timeframes, the site is automatically deemed rejected.

This process is important for prospective franchisees as it sets clear expectations for site approval timelines. Franchisees need to be aware of these deadlines to ensure their site selection process stays on track. The FDD also mentions that Angry Chickz's acceptance of a site should not be unreasonably withheld, which provides some assurance to the franchisee. However, the franchisee bears the sole responsibility for finding suitable locations.
