What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, when a franchisee identifies a potential site for a dine-in restaurant, they must submit a Site Review Kit to Angry Chickz. This kit includes cost information, potential customer information, real estate information, competitor information, demographic data, and any other information Angry Chickz requires regarding the proposed site and its surrounding areas. The specific form for this kit will be provided by Angry Chickz.

Angry Chickz has the option to request additional information within 30 days of receiving the Site Review Kit, and the franchisee is expected to respond promptly. The franchisor retains the sole discretion to either accept or reject the proposed site.

If Angry Chickz approves the site, they will notify the franchisee in writing, officially designating it as the "Location." If the franchisee does not receive a written notice of acceptance or rejection within 30 days of submitting the Site Review Kit (or within 15 days of providing additional requested information, if applicable), the site is automatically considered rejected. This process ensures that Angry Chickz maintains control over site selection, which is crucial for brand consistency and market penetration.

Franchisees are prohibited from entering into any lease or purchase agreement for the site until it has been formally accepted by Angry Chickz, and even then, it must be done in accordance with the Franchise Agreement. This protects both the franchisee and the franchisor by ensuring that the location meets the brand's standards and has the potential for success.
