If you participate in our Area Development Program, we assign a defined area within which you must develop and operate a specified number of Angry Chickz Restaurants within a specified period of time. The development area may be one city, one or more counties, one or more states, or some other defined geographic area. You will sign an Area Development Agreement (Exhibit B) which will describe your development area and your development schedule and other obligations. For each Angry Chickz Restaurant you open pursuant to the Area Development Agreement, promptly after our approval of the site for the Angry Chickz Restaurant, you will sign a separate Franchise Agreement on the then current form used by ACF at the time, except to the extent otherwise provided in your Area Development Agreement.

According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees who participate in the Area Development Program are assigned a defined area in which they must develop and operate a specified number of Angry Chickz Restaurants within a specified period. This development area could be a city, multiple counties, states, or another defined geographic region.
The Area Development Agreement outlines the franchisee's development area, schedule, and other obligations. For each Angry Chickz Restaurant opened under the Area Development Agreement, a separate Franchise Agreement must be signed after Angry Chickz approves the site. This subsequent agreement will be on the then-current form used by Angry Chickz at the time, unless the Area Development Agreement specifies otherwise.
This means that while the Area Development Agreement grants the franchisee the right to develop multiple locations within a specific territory, each location will still require its own individual Franchise Agreement. This allows Angry Chickz to maintain control over site selection and ensure each location meets their standards. It also allows Angry Chickz to update the franchise agreement terms for new locations as needed.
