If Angry Chickz employees travel for training, will the Franchisee reimburse Angry Chickz for travel expenses?

If any training requires travel by Company's employees or representatives, Franchisee will reimburse Company for all Travel Expenses incurred by Company.
Company shall determine the contents and manner of conducting all training programs referenced in this Article.
Franchisee acknowledges that because of Company's superior skill and knowledge with respect to the training and skill required to develop and operate a Restaurant, its judgment as to whether or not a person has satisfactorily completed the Initial Training Program, and/or all additional or other training programs shall be determined by Company.
6.6 Grand Opening Support. In consideration of the Grand Opening Fee, Company will develop, design and conduct a pre and post-opening marketing campaign for the Franchised Business with Franchisee's input based on highlighting the Authorized Products, the local community around the Location, and Franchisee's grand opening activities. Company's preopening marketing campaign will be conducted on social media, principally focused on Instagram and Facebook media but may include other platforms, and may utilize local influencers. Company's marketing campaign typically commences 60 days prior to Franchisee's grand opening and continues for 15 days following the grand opening.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering certain travel expenses related to training. Specifically, if Angry Chickz employees or representatives travel for training purposes, the franchisee is required to reimburse Angry Chickz for all travel expenses incurred by the company. This obligation extends to various training scenarios outlined in Article 6 of the agreement.
Furthermore, the franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses incurred by themselves and their employees in connection with training. These expenses are classified as Travel Expenses. This includes instances where the franchisee or their employees attend additional training courses, programs, and conventions that Angry Chickz may require periodically.
In the event that Angry Chickz provides more than 5 days of on-site training, the franchisee is obligated to pay Angry Chickz's then-current per day training fee in addition to reimbursing Angry Chickz for its travel expenses. This condition applies if the agreement is not the third or subsequent agreement between the franchisee and Angry Chickz, or a Successor Franchise Agreement, unless Angry Chickz requires on-site training at its discretion.
