What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Angry Chickz does not guarantee the profitable or successful operation of a franchised business at any site, even if they assist in locating or accepting the site. The FDD emphasizes that the franchisee is solely responsible for finding a suitable location for their Angry Chickz restaurant.
This disclaimer means that while Angry Chickz may offer assistance in site selection, the ultimate decision and responsibility for the location's success rest entirely with the franchisee. Prospective franchisees should not rely on any perceived endorsement of a site by Angry Chickz as a guarantee of profitability. It is common practice in franchising for franchisors to offer site selection assistance but avoid guaranteeing financial outcomes due to the many factors outside their direct control.
Therefore, it is crucial for potential Angry Chickz franchisees to conduct thorough due diligence on any proposed location. This includes market research, demographic analysis, traffic studies, and assessing the competitive landscape. Franchisees should also consider consulting with independent business advisors and real estate professionals to evaluate the suitability of the site and project potential revenues and expenses. By taking these steps, franchisees can make informed decisions and mitigate the risk of selecting a location that does not meet their business needs.
