What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while the company may offer voluntary assistance in locating a suitable site for a Dine-In Restaurant, this assistance, or the acceptance of any proposed site, does not guarantee the profitable or successful operation of the restaurant at that location. Angry Chickz expressly disclaims any responsibility for the profitability of the site.
This means that even if Angry Chickz helps a developer find a location or approves a site, the franchisee bears the ultimate responsibility for the site's success. The franchisor's approval should not be interpreted as a guarantee of financial returns.
Prospective Angry Chickz franchisees should conduct their own thorough market research and due diligence before committing to a specific location. This includes analyzing demographics, traffic patterns, competition, and other factors that could impact the restaurant's performance. It is a common practice in the franchise industry for franchisors to offer site selection assistance, but franchisees are generally responsible for ensuring the location's viability.
