What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, Angry Chickz does not guarantee the profitability or success of a restaurant, even if they assist in locating the site or formally accept the proposed location. The FDD makes it clear that the responsibility for finding a suitable site rests solely with the developer (franchisee).
While Angry Chickz may offer voluntary assistance in identifying potential locations, this help, along with the company's acceptance of a site, should not be interpreted as an assurance of future profits. The company explicitly disclaims any responsibility for the financial performance of the restaurant at the chosen site.
This disclaimer is a standard practice in the franchise industry. Franchisees should conduct their own thorough market research and due diligence to assess the viability of any proposed location. Factors such as local demographics, competition, traffic patterns, and lease terms all play a crucial role in determining a restaurant's potential for success. Prospective Angry Chickz franchisees should not rely solely on the franchisor's site approval as a guarantee of profitability.
