What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from using their assigned Angry Chickz email account for personal communications. The email account is designated solely for business communications related to the franchised business. This restriction ensures that all electronic correspondence pertaining to the Angry Chickz franchise remains professional and focused on business operations.
This policy has several implications for franchisees. It requires them to maintain a separate email account for personal use, ensuring a clear separation between personal and business communications. This separation can help maintain professionalism and prevent any potential confusion or misuse of the Angry Chickz brand. Additionally, it allows Angry Chickz to monitor and manage business-related communications more effectively.
Angry Chickz also states that neither the company nor its employees are obligated to monitor any form of electronic communications other than the assigned email account. Franchisees are also prohibited from using personal social media accounts for general business communications or using the assigned email account for personal communication. Franchisees also cannot use any of the Angry Chickz marks in their personal social media or other email accounts.
These stipulations are fairly standard in franchising, as franchisors typically want to maintain control over brand messaging and ensure consistent communication standards across all franchise locations. Franchisees should be aware of these restrictions and adhere to them to avoid any potential breaches of the franchise agreement.
