Except as directed in writing by Company, Franchisee must participate in all advertising, marketing, promotions, research and public relations programs instituted by Company through the Brand Fund. The Brand Fund shall, as available, provide to Franchisee marketing, advertising and promotional formats and sample materials at the Brand Fund's actual cost of producing such items, plus shipping and handling. Any additional advertising shall be at the sole cost and expense of Franchisee. The materials and/or media created utilizing the Brand Fund may include information regarding acquiring a franchise.

According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must participate in all advertising, marketing, promotions, research, and public relations programs instituted by Angry Chickz through the Brand Fund, unless directed otherwise in writing by the company. The Brand Fund will provide marketing, advertising, and promotional formats and sample materials to the franchisee at the Brand Fund's actual cost of producing such items, plus shipping and handling. Any additional advertising beyond what the Brand Fund provides is at the franchisee's sole cost and expense.
Angry Chickz maintains discretion over various aspects of advertising, public relations, and promotional campaigns, including cost, media, content, format, style, timing, and allocation. Some franchisees or licensees may not be required to contribute to the Brand Fund or contribute the same percentage of Gross Sales. Neither Angry Chickz nor its affiliates are required to contribute any amount to the Brand Fund, and if they do, they are not obligated to continue contributing.
The Brand Fund uses revenues and allocations for advertising, public relations, and promotional campaigns to promote the image of franchised and company-owned restaurants. These expenditures can include print and electronic media advertisements, social media campaigns, market research, promotional events, website development, and payments to advertising agencies. The Brand Fund will be accounted for separately, but Angry Chickz can commingle Brand Fees with general operating funds. Franchisees can request an annual unaudited summary of the Brand Fund's contributions and expenditures.
