What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, additional actions a franchisee must take to de-identify the Franchised Business after termination, expiration, or nonrenewal of the franchise agreement can be found in the Manual(s). The franchisor, Angry Chickz, is permitted to identify these actions in the Manual(s).

Upon termination or expiration of the franchise agreement, the franchisee is obligated to make cosmetic changes to the Franchised Business so that it no longer contains or resembles Angry Chickz's proprietary designs and trade dress. This includes removing materials that would identify the business as an Angry Chickz Restaurant and removing distinctive cosmetic features, lighting, furniture, logos, signs, menus, decals, floor and wall coverings, and colors, as directed by Angry Chickz.

Angry Chickz also has the right to access the Franchised Business to make these cosmetic changes themselves. The franchisee is responsible for performing all additional actions identified in the Manual(s) in a timely manner to fully de-identify the business.
