What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from interfering with another franchisee's use of Angry Chickz's trade dress and Marks. The agreement states that franchisees cannot interfere with or attempt to prohibit the use of the company's trade dress or Marks by any other franchisee or licensee.
This restriction ensures brand consistency and protects the integrity of the Angry Chickz brand. It prevents franchisees from taking actions that could undermine the marketing efforts or operational standards of other franchisees within the system. This clause aims to foster a collaborative environment among franchisees, preventing conflicts over brand representation and market share.
Furthermore, the franchisee is not allowed to divert or attempt to divert business or customers from the franchised business to any other person or entity, or perform any act that is injurious or prejudicial to the goodwill associated with the Marks. This protects the Angry Chickz brand and other franchisees from unfair competition or actions that could harm the brand's reputation.
