What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, the company will visit the development area for the first proposed restaurant for up to one business day without any additional fees. However, if additional site visits are required by Angry Chickz or requested by the developer, the developer will be charged a fee of $500, plus all expenses associated with the additional site visits.
This means that after the initial site visit for the first restaurant, franchisees should budget for additional costs if more visits are needed. These costs include both a flat fee of $500 and reimbursement for all expenses Angry Chickz incurs during the visit. Expenses could include travel, accommodation, and meals for the Angry Chickz personnel.
It is also important to note that Angry Chickz may elect to conduct one or more site visits electronically using a platform of their choice. In this case, the developer is expected to cooperate with Angry Chickz in conducting the electronic site visit. This could potentially reduce the need for in-person site visits and associated costs.
Prospective Angry Chickz franchisees should clarify what constitutes 'expenses' for site visits to accurately forecast potential costs. Understanding the factors that might necessitate additional site visits can also help in managing and potentially reducing these fees.
