As of the Effective Date, does Angry Chickz charge a Technology Fee?

According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, as of the Effective Date of the franchise agreement, Angry Chickz does not charge a Technology Fee. However, Angry Chickz retains the right to implement this fee in the future.

If Angry Chickz decides to implement a Technology Fee, they must provide franchisees with at least 90 days' prior notice before the fee goes into effect. The Technology Fee would be used to cover expenses related to the technological infrastructure and other technologies utilized in the Angry Chickz system. This includes information systems, software and application development and licensing, point-of-sale systems, Intranet maintenance, online ordering systems, loyalty programs, utilization of delivery platforms and services, and technological development.

This policy provides some certainty for new Angry Chickz franchisees in the short term, as they will not have to budget for this fee initially. However, franchisees should be aware that the fee could be implemented in the future with 90 days' notice, potentially impacting their operating costs.
