At our request, your Operating Principal and Restaurant Leader must sign a written statement to confidentiality agreement regarding the trade secrets described in Item 14 and to conform with the covenants not to compete described in Item 17.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz FDD, the Operating Principal and Restaurant Leader must sign a written confidentiality agreement regarding trade secrets and conform to non-compete covenants.
The Operating Principal is responsible for communicating with Angry Chickz about the business, operations, and other ongoing matters related to the restaurant. They must have the authority and responsibility for the restaurant's day-to-day operations. The Operating Principal must devote their full time and best efforts solely to the operation of the Angry Chickz Restaurant. They also need to meet Angry Chickz's criteria for the position, including educational, experiential, and financial requirements outlined in the manuals or in writing.
Furthermore, the Operating Principal and Restaurant Leader must successfully complete the initial training program. The franchisee is responsible for ensuring that the operation of the franchised business is always under the control and supervision of either the Operating Principal or the Restaurant Leader. The franchisee must supervise, direct, and be responsible for the activities and performance of the Operating Principal, Restaurant Leader, and employees, ensuring compliance with Angry Chickz's standards and agreements.
