What is considered FFE for an Angry Chickz restaurant?

According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, FFE refers to furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Angry Chickz may periodically designate and approve standards and/or suppliers of FFE and other products and services that they periodically authorize for use at or sale from the restaurant. Franchisees must purchase or lease all FFE and other products and services for their restaurant only according to these standards.

This means that as a prospective Angry Chickz franchisee, you will likely be required to purchase or lease furniture, fixtures, and equipment from suppliers that Angry Chickz has approved. This is a common practice in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to maintain consistency and quality across all locations. However, it also means that you may not be able to shop around for the best prices on these items. Angry Chickz estimates that substantially all of your expenditures for leases and purchases in establishing your Restaurant and substantially all of your expenditures on an ongoing basis during the operation of your Restaurant will be for goods and services which are subject to sourcing restrictions.

It is important to note that Angry Chickz and its affiliates may derive revenue and profit based on your purchases and leases, including from charging you for products and services that they provide to you. They may also be the sole designated supplier of certain goods and services. Therefore, it is crucial to carefully review the list of approved suppliers and the prices of the products and services they offer before signing the franchise agreement. As an Angry Chickz franchisee, you are responsible for ensuring that your restaurant is constructed, equipped, and improved in compliance with Angry Chickz's current design criteria and specifications. You must also employ licensed and bonded architects, engineers, and general contractors that have been approved by Angry Chickz to prepare all architectural, engineering, and construction drawings and site plans, and to obtain all permits required to construct, remodel, renovate, and/or equip your Restaurants in accordance with their standards and applicable law.
