What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Angry Chickz's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering all costs and expenses associated with attending the annual meeting. Specifically, at least one representative from the franchisee's business, whether an owner or another designated individual, must attend the annual meeting of all Angry Chickz franchisees if requested by Angry Chickz.

This requirement means that franchisees must budget for travel, accommodation, and any other related expenses to ensure their representative can attend the meeting at the location designated by Angry Chickz. Additionally, the franchisee is obligated to pay the then-current meeting fee, regardless of whether their representative attends the meeting or if their non-attendance is excused.

The FDD also clarifies that Angry Chickz will not provide any financial assistance or compensation for these expenses. This is further reinforced by the statement that the franchisee bears all expenses related to training, including travel. This allocation of expenses is a standard practice in many franchise systems, where franchisees are expected to cover their own costs for ongoing training and meetings.
