What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, Angry Chickz retains the right to develop, acquire, merge with, or become associated with other concepts, including dual branding and franchise systems. This means Angry Chickz can award franchises or licenses under other concepts for locations anywhere.
This reservation of rights gives Angry Chickz significant flexibility to expand its business beyond the Angry Chickz brand. For a franchisee, this means that Angry Chickz could introduce competing brands or concepts in any location, even within or near a franchisee's Development Area or Protected Area.
This right is unrestricted, meaning Angry Chickz does not need franchisee approval or input. It also means that Angry Chickz can operate these other concepts whether or not they use the Angry Chickz system or trademarks. This could create competition for Angry Chickz franchisees, as Angry Chickz could introduce new brands that offer similar products or services.
