What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, Angry Chickz, its representatives, and/or licensors have the right to inspect all aspects of the franchised business. This includes observing operations and inspecting all aspects of the business, regardless of location, before, during, or after business hours. The purpose of these inspections is to examine the business, confer with the franchisee's employees, and determine if the business is being conducted according to the Franchise Agreement, the Angry Chickz system, and the brand standards.
Inspectors also have the right to interview present and former customers. While conducting inspections, the inspectors will make reasonable efforts to avoid materially disrupting the operation of the franchised business. If an inspection reveals any deficiencies or unsatisfactory conditions related to quality, cleanliness, service, health and safety, or authorized products, Angry Chickz will notify the franchisee in writing. The franchisee must then promptly correct or repair the deficiency, which may include temporarily closing the business.
If a re-inspection is required to confirm that a deficiency has been rectified, the franchisee will be required to pay Angry Chickz $500 for the re-inspection, in addition to the company's out-of-pocket expenses, including travel expenses. This highlights the importance of maintaining standards and addressing any issues promptly to avoid additional costs and potential disruptions to the business.
