According to the Angry Chickz franchise agreement, what is the 'Opening Date'?

According to the 2025 Angry Chickz Franchise Disclosure Document, the Opening Date is defined as the date that the franchisee opens and commences operation of the Franchised Business. Angry Chickz may insert that date in attached Exhibit F of the franchise agreement.

The franchisee cannot open the Angry Chickz business to the public until they have properly developed and equipped the Franchised Business according to the brand's standards and all applicable laws. Additionally, all pre-opening training for the franchisee's personnel must be completed, and the franchisee must obtain all permits to operate the business. Finally, Angry Chickz must provide the franchisee with written authorization to open and commence operation.

The Angry Chickz franchisee must complete construction or renovation of the premises and the Franchised Business, obtain all required permits and written authorization to open, and commence operation of the Franchised Business as soon as possible, but no later than 10 months following the Effective Date, unless Angry Chickz consents to a longer period in writing.
