SECTION 4.6 COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS.
You will comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations, and will timely obtain, maintain and renew when required all permits, certificates, or licenses necessary for the proper conduct of the Anago Unit Franchise under this Agreement, including qualification to do business, fictitious, trade or assumed name registration, occupational licenses, and OSHA requirements. You will provide copies of all inspection reports, warnings, certificates and ratings, issued by any governmental entity during the Term on the conduct of the Anago Unit Franchise that indicates Your material noncompliance with any applicable law, rule or regulation, to Us within 2 days of Your receipt of these items. We accept no responsibility for any of Your operations, janitorial or otherwise.

According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the subfranchisor is responsible for complying with laws, rules, and regulations related to their duties. Specifically, the subfranchisor must adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. This includes obtaining, maintaining, and renewing all necessary permits, certificates, or licenses required for the proper operation of the Anago Unit Franchise. These may include qualifications to do business, fictitious, trade, or assumed name registrations, occupational licenses, and OSHA requirements.
Furthermore, the subfranchisor is obligated to provide Anago with copies of all inspection reports, warnings, certificates, and ratings issued by any governmental entity during the term of the agreement. These documents must be provided within two days of receipt if they indicate material noncompliance with any applicable law, rule, or regulation. Anago bears no responsibility for the subfranchisor's operations, janitorial or otherwise.
The subfranchisor is also responsible for ensuring their employees follow all applicable regulations and laws related to the operation of their Anago Unit Franchise. This includes determining the essential terms and conditions of their employment, such as compensation, training, work hours, and duties. The subfranchisor must also ensure their employees maintain a neat appearance and comply with any dress code requirements.
In addition to general legal compliance, the subfranchisor must comply with Anti-Terrorism Laws, including not hiring or dealing with anyone on the SDN List. The subfranchisor is solely responsible for understanding and adhering to these laws, and any violation can lead to immediate termination of the agreement. The subfranchisor also has obligations related to advertising, including compliance with laws regulating advertising content and use, and registration with applicable state franchise regulators.
