cts and services in the Manuals or otherwise in writing.

For any products or services for which we do not then have an approved or designated vendor, you may use any vendor that meets our specifications, as set forth in the Manuals. However, we reserve the right to require you and your Unit Franchisees to purchase or lease computers and all other products or services used or required to be used in your respective businesses only from manufacturers, contractors, distributors, and other suppliers (collectively, "vendors") that we approve or designate and about whom we notify you in the Manuals or otherwise in writing. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Item 8 discusses the restrictions on sources of products and services, stating that Anago reserves the right to require franchisees and their unit franchisees to purchase or lease computers used in their businesses only from approved or designated vendors. This means Anago can mandate specific computer systems. Item 11 then refers to computer systems and software, stating that specifications for the computer system will be provided, along with the custom NBDS formats.

Item 11 also describes the Anago training program, which is mandatory for all new master franchisees. This training covers various aspects of the business, including invoicing and statement processing, administration, and Anago business operations. Therefore, while Item 8 mandates the use of specific computer systems, Item 11 ensures that franchisees receive training on the systems and software necessary to operate their Anago franchise, including the custom NBDS formats.

In summary, the required computer purchase outlined in Item 8 is directly linked to the computer systems training detailed in Item 11. Anago controls the approved computer systems, and then provides training to ensure franchisees can effectively use those systems for key business functions like invoicing and administration.
