What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all advertising bearing Anago marks or logos must receive prior written approval from Anago. This requirement ensures that all advertising materials align with Anago's brand standards and protect its goodwill.
This means that if you, as a franchisee, plan to create any local advertising that includes Anago's trademarks or logos, you must first submit the materials to Anago for their approval. This includes various forms of advertising such as television, radio, internet, social media, newspapers, and promotional items. However, if the advertising materials have been previously approved or consist only of materials provided by Anago, you do not need to resubmit them for approval.
Anago's approval process includes a provision for timely feedback. If you do not receive written or oral disapproval of the submitted materials within 10 days from the date Anago receives them, the materials are deemed approved. However, Anago retains the right to require you to withdraw or discontinue the use of any promotional materials or advertising, even if previously approved, if they believe it may harm the Anago system. In such cases, Anago must provide written notice, and you have 5 days to comply. This oversight helps maintain brand consistency and protect the Anago brand from potentially harmful advertising.
