PRE-OPENING SUPPORT:
After the Subfranchise Rights Agreement is signed and before you begin to operate your Anago Subfranchise Rights Business, if you are not in default under your Subfranchise Rights Agreement, we provide the following:
Initial Training (Section 2.1 of Subfranchise Rights Agreement) – We will provide initial training for one person for up to two weeks, which training will take place not only at one of our offices but also at such other locations as we mutually agree upon. See below under the heading "Training Program" for additional information.
Loan of the Anago Manuals (Section 2.2 of the Subfranchise Rights Agreement) - We will loan to you a copy of the Anago Manuals, including the Unit Franchise Operating Manual, that you are required to use and provide to your Unit Franchisees. These manuals cannot be changed, altered or edited in whole or in part by you or your Unit Franchisees.
Pre-Opening Assistance and Support (Section 2.3 of the Subfranchise Rights Agreement):
- (a) Original Materials. We will provide you with assistance in (a) the preparation of advertising brochures, (b) compiling a list of local suppliers, (c) compiling a list of prospective clients, and (d) the set up for local newspaper advertising for the Unit Franchisees.
- (b) Computer System/Software. Specifications for the computer system will be provided, along with the custom NBDS formats.
- (c) Informal Advice. We may provide you, although not obligated to do so, informal advice and instruction in the day-to-day operations of your Anago Subfranchise Rights Business.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Anago provides specific pre-opening support to new subfranchisees after the Subfranchise Rights Agreement is signed, assuming the subfranchisee is not in default of the agreement. This support includes initial training for one person for up to two weeks, which may occur at Anago's offices or another mutually agreed-upon location. Anago also loans the new subfranchisee a copy of the Anago Manuals, including the Unit Franchise Operating Manual, which the subfranchisee is required to use and provide to their unit franchisees. These manuals cannot be altered by the subfranchisee or their unit franchisees. The current manuals consist of 1,113 pages.
Anago provides assistance in preparing advertising brochures, compiling lists of local suppliers and prospective clients, and setting up local newspaper advertising for unit franchisees. Specifications for the required computer system and custom NBDS formats are also provided. Anago may also offer informal advice and instruction on the day-to-day operations of the Anago Subfranchise Rights Business, although they are not obligated to do so.
The Anago Training Program should begin 4 to 8 weeks after signing the Subfranchise Rights Agreement and 1 to 2 weeks before opening the Anago Subfranchise. Initial training is mandatory and must be completed within 90 days after signing the Subfranchise Rights Agreement. The subfranchisee must also secure an office location approved by Anago within 90 days of signing the Subfranchise Rights Agreement, equipped with necessary technology like a business telephone, computer system with Internet access, and specific software. The subfranchisee must commence operation within 30 days of completing the initial training program, and in any event, within 180 days of signing the Subfranchise Rights Agreement.
