What does the 'Anago Orientation Program' or 'Initial Orientation' entail?

We will provide the Anago Orientation Program for You (or one of your owners, if you are a legal entity) and two other individuals designated by You within 30 days of the Agreement Date. One of the individuals who attends the Anago Orientation Program must personally guaranty Your obligations under this Agreement if You are a legal entity. The Anago Orientation Program consists of 7 classroom sessions and 3 on-site sessions at one of Our existing Account buildings. Each classroom and on-site session is a maximum of 8 hours. The Anago Orientation Program covers the following items: general office cleaning, restroom cleaning, floor maintenance, customer relations, and contract sales. The Orientation is provided by the use of video films, lectures and "hands-on" applications by Our experienced staff. Your employees may attend certain sessions of the Anago Orientation Program as We designate. There is no additional fee for Initial Orientation. You are responsible for any expenses incurred by You and Your employees in attending the Initial Orientation, including costs of transportation, lodging, meals and any wages paid to your employees.

According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Anago Orientation Program is provided for the franchisee (or one of the owners, if the franchisee is a legal entity) and two other individuals designated by the franchisee within 30 days of the Agreement Date. If the franchisee is a legal entity, one of the individuals attending the Anago Orientation Program must personally guarantee the franchisee's obligations. The program includes 7 classroom sessions and 3 on-site sessions at one of Anago's existing account buildings. Each session, whether classroom or on-site, has a maximum duration of 8 hours. There is no additional fee for Initial Orientation. However, the franchisee is responsible for all expenses incurred while attending the orientation, such as transportation, lodging, meals, and wages paid to employees.
The Anago Orientation Program covers general office cleaning, restroom cleaning, floor maintenance, customer relations, and contract sales. The training is delivered through video films, lectures, and hands-on applications by Anago's experienced staff. Anago may allow the franchisee's employees to attend certain sessions of the Anago Orientation Program as designated by Anago.
To be offered accounts generating Gross Monthly Billing, the franchisee must successfully complete the Anago Orientation Program with a score of 85% or better on the business operations examination. Additionally, Anago's orientation officer must certify the franchisee as qualified to operate an Anago Unit Franchise, and the franchisee must sign an orientation acknowledgment. The franchisee must also provide proof of all necessary business licenses, tax registrations, insurance, and permits, as well as proof of purchase or lease of major equipment. The franchisee is not obligated to accept initial business offered, but declining an offer requires a signed written statement. Refusal to sign this statement constitutes a material breach of the agreement, potentially leading to termination.
