What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Anago is not required to provide franchisees with assistance, except as specifically listed in the document. However, Anago may provide informal advice and instruction in the day-to-day operations of your Anago Subfranchise Rights Business, but they are not obligated to do so.
This means that while Anago might offer guidance on running your subfranchise, it is not a guaranteed part of the franchise agreement. As a prospective franchisee, you should not rely on receiving this informal advice as a certainty.
It is important to note that Anago does provide pre-opening support, including initial training, loan of the Anago Manuals, and assistance with preparing advertising brochures, compiling lists of local suppliers and prospective clients, and setting up local newspaper advertising for Unit Franchisees. They will also provide specifications for the computer system and custom NBDS formats. This pre-opening support is a defined obligation, unlike the discretionary informal advice.
