What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program is designed for one person. This training is part of the pre-opening support offered to new subfranchise owners. The training lasts for up to two weeks and can take place at one of Anago's offices or another location that is mutually agreed upon.

This initial training is mandatory for all new Master Franchise owners and must be completed within 90 days of signing the Subfranchise Rights Agreement. However, the length of the training may be reduced if the franchisee already owns a janitorial business or has worked in the janitorial franchise business for over a year. If the franchisee does not complete the initial training to Anago's satisfaction, Anago has the option to either provide retraining or terminate the Subfranchise Rights Agreement and retain the initial fee.

The training covers various aspects of the business, including unit sales and solicitation, unit orientation, management, contract sales (including marketing, prospecting, telemarketing, bidding, and contracting for customer contracts), invoicing and statement processing, administration, and general Anago business operations. The content, operation, and manner of conducting the initial training are under Anago's sole control.

Prospective franchisees should consider the cost and time commitment associated with the training, as well as the implications of not completing the training to Anago's satisfaction. It is also important to note that while the initial training is for one person, additional training and annual seminars are available, but these may incur additional costs for the franchisee.
