- "Anago Manuals", or "Manuals" means all manuals produced by ACS, AFI and/or their affiliates, or for the benefit of Franchisor and the System, and loaned to the Subfranchisor, now existing or later produced, and any revisions, additions and modifications thereto.
The Anago Manuals are deemed confidential including Franchisor's Standards for operating and managing a Unit Franchise and advertising and marketing of the Unit Franchises.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Anago Manuals contain the brand's standards for operating and managing a Unit Franchise, as well as advertising and marketing information for Unit Franchises. The manuals are deemed confidential and are loaned to the Subfranchisor.
The Anago Manuals are produced by ACS, AFI, and/or their affiliates, or for the benefit of Anago and the System. These manuals can be existing manuals or those produced later, including any revisions, additions, and modifications.
The Subfranchisor is required to provide a copy of the Anago Manuals to its Unit Franchisees, along with any updates. The Subfranchisor and its Unit Franchisees cannot emulate, edit, or alter the manuals. The manuals and other confidential information remain the sole property of Anago, and the Subfranchisor only has the right to possess and use them during the term of the agreement, subject to the restrictions outlined in the agreement.
