Ongoing Support (Section 2.5 of the Subfranchise Rights Agreement):

During your operation of the Anago Subfranchise Business, we will provide you with the following assistance:

Telephone Hotline - We will, at our discretion and subject to availability of personnel, maintain a telephone "hotline" for informational assistance for you and the Unit Franchisees.

Advertising and Public Relations - We reserve the right to develop and administer national and/or regional advertising funds and campaigns to generally promote the System using Advertising Contributions paid by you including Anago retail promotional/advertisement packages as described in Subsection 3.1(d) of the Unit Franchise Agreement.

Periodic Assistance - We may provide to you continuing advisory assistance in the operation and promotion of the Unit Franchises as we deem advisable, including communication of new developments, improvements in equipment and supplies, and new techniques in advertising, service and management that are relevant to the operation of the Franchised Business.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Anago may provide continuing advisory assistance in the operation and promotion of Unit Franchises. This includes communicating new developments, improvements in equipment and supplies, and new techniques in advertising, service, and management relevant to the operation of the franchised business. Anago also maintains a telephone "hotline" for informational assistance for both the Subfranchisee and the Unit Franchisees, subject to personnel availability and at Anago's discretion.

Prior to opening, Anago offers assistance in several key areas. They will help with the preparation of advertising brochures, compiling lists of local suppliers and prospective clients, and setting up local newspaper advertising for Unit Franchisees. Specifications for the computer system will be provided, along with custom NBDS formats. Anago may also provide informal advice and instruction in the day-to-day operations of the Anago Subfranchise Rights Business, although they are not obligated to do so.

Anago will also supply a current franchise disclosure document (Subfranchisor - Single Unit) to be modified by the franchisee and their franchise attorney, including the information required to be included regarding Subfranchisors by applicable federal and state regulations, including the FTC Franchise Rule. Anago will update their franchise disclosure document in accordance with current FTC requirements as to information concerning them. However, the franchise disclosure document is only provided as a guideline, and the franchisee is solely responsible to make alterations and/or changes as necessary to comply with state or federal requirements as Anago makes no guarantees that the franchise disclosure document or unit franchise agreement samples provided conform to current laws. Any changes to comply with current laws that the franchisee or their attorney may make must be forwarded to Anago. Any other changes must be approved by Anago.

It is important to note that Anago explicitly states that, except for the listed assistance, they are not required to provide any further assistance. This places a significant responsibility on the franchisee to proactively manage and develop their Anago Subfranchise Rights Business, leveraging the provided support while also taking independent initiative.
