- (a) Monthly Reports. You will submit to Us by the 20th day of each month during the Term, in the form We require, accurate Records reflecting the information We require. If You must collect and remit sales taxes, You must also supply to Us copies of Your sales tax returns.
- (b) Annual Financial Statements. We may request that You prepare and submit an annual balance sheet and income statement, within 90 days of the end of the fiscal year prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Each annual statement must be accompanied by an unqualified review opinion from an independent certified public accountant acceptable to Us, and must be signed by You or by Your Treasurer or Chief Financial Officer attesting that the financial statements are correct and fairly present Your financial position at and for the times indicated. You will also supply to Us, if requested, copies of Your federal and state income tax returns at the time these returns are filed with the appropriate tax authorities. The financial statements and/or other periodic reports described above must be prepared to segregate the income and related expenses of the Anago Unit Franchise from those of any other business that You conduct.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must submit accurate records reflecting the information that Anago requires by the 20th day of each month. These records pertain to the operations of the Anago Unit Franchise and must be segregated from other business and personal records. If the franchisee is responsible for collecting and remitting sales taxes, they must also provide copies of their sales tax returns to Anago.
Anago may also request annual financial statements, including a balance sheet and income statement, within 90 days of the end of the fiscal year. These statements must adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and be accompanied by an unqualified review opinion from an independent certified public accountant acceptable to Anago. The statements must be signed by the franchisee or their Treasurer or Chief Financial Officer, attesting to their accuracy and fair presentation of the franchisee's financial position. Franchisees may also be required to supply copies of their federal and state income tax returns.
All information provided to Anago remains confidential, although Anago is permitted to release information to the franchisee's landlord, lenders, prospective landlords and lenders, and to include information in documents required under federal or state franchise laws. Anago retains the right to examine and copy the franchisee's records at any reasonable time and to conduct independent audits of these records at Anago's expense.
Subfranchisors must also provide a copy of all statements issued to its Unit Franchisees during the month by the 25th day of each month in the form and manner designated by Anago. Anago may require the subfranchisor to accomplish this via hard copies sent by mail, courier, or by electronic data transmission via a modem or Internet access installed within Subfranchisor's computer.
