What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Anago's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, when approving suppliers for the Anago system, Anago may consider factors such as the price and quality of the products or services offered. The company may also evaluate the supplier's reliability in providing those products or services. These considerations help Anago ensure that franchisees have access to quality supplies at competitive prices, which can impact their operational costs and profitability.

Anago may approve a single supplier for a specific brand or approve a supplier only for certain brands. This allows Anago to concentrate purchases with one or more suppliers to potentially obtain the lowest prices, the best advertising support, or services for any group of franchised or company-owned units within the system. This approach enables Anago to leverage its collective buying power to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, benefiting franchisees through reduced costs or enhanced support.

Approval of a supplier may be conditional, based on requirements such as the frequency of delivery, standards of service, warranty policies (including prompt attention to complaints), and concentration of purchases. These conditions ensure that suppliers meet Anago's standards for service and support, maintaining consistency and quality across the franchise system. Approvals may also be temporary, pending additional evaluation of the supplier, allowing Anago to continuously assess and ensure supplier performance.

Prospective franchisees should understand that Anago does not warrant the use of approved vendors or supplies when they are utilized outside the Anago System. This implies that the approved supplier arrangements are specifically for products and services used within the scope of the Anago franchise operations. Additionally, Anago reserves the right to identify, approve, or designate vendors for the Anago System, and franchisees must purchase goods and services only from these approved vendors under the terms and manner designated by Anago.
